How did Monnem Moves start?

It started with two friends Lina and Anabel who wanted to make running more fun, social, and inclusive. Since then, Monnem Moves has grown into a community that connects people through movement, creativity, and shared experiences.

When and where do the runs happen?

Accepted Answer

We run every Wednesday at 6:00 PM, usually offering 3 km and 5 km routes through Mannheim.
The weekly plan (with meeting point, route, and pace) is posted every Monday on Instagram and our website.
In addition, we host special runs on weekends and offer non-running activities like pilates or walks – perfect for anyone who wants to move but not necessarily run.

What pace do you run at?

3 km group: ~6:40–7:30 min/km
5 km group: ~5:45–6:30 min/km

That said, the pace is always adjusted to the group – we run together and make sure no one is left behind. 🫶

Do you offer other sports too?

Yes! Beyond running, we are planning to host sessions like reformer pilates, yoga, and more. All are announced on our Instagram, website, and in our WhatsApp Community.

Do I need to register?

Usually, no registration is needed – just show up and join the crew! 🙌
For some special events or classes, we may ask you to sign up in advance – but we’ll always let you know in time.

We always end with a relaxed get-together, often featuring special deals from our local partners. A great chance to chat, unwind, and meet new people.
